How the “Wind Mule” Works
With no aerodynamic blades (or expensive components), air current is trapped against the frame of the machine arms on one side with panels or “sails” causing the machine to rotate. When each of the arms rotates to the downwind side, wind then opens the panels by hitting the back side of them. At this point the panels or sails flip open to a sail angle as they are all able to pivot at the outermost point.
What Makes the “Wind Mule” Special
Unlike machines that have a propeller or eggbeater blades, the “Wind Mule” begins working at the slightest of wind speeds and orients itself to wind from any direction, or changing directions.
The Wind Mule is long on torque and leverage which converts to horsepower. It does not rely on momentum and does best with a load on it. The “Wind Mule” will make other ways of collecting wind energy obsolete; it is simply a better tool for the job.
